Category: Peer-Reviewed Articles

Peer-reviewed articles about The Beatles, be it they are primary- or secondary-sourced, by scholarly publications will be flagged with this category.

I know that a lot of people find this sort of thing boring.  Yes, many of these papers can be kind of dry.  But a lot of them share information that many people don’t think too much about.  Also, they can be sources of information that help clear up misconceptions and disputes, too.

Often, these types of papers can lead to the creation of larger-scale projects, too.  Researchers will sometimes use such articles as a pathway to creating textbooks about the same subject.  With the little bit of examination I have done with this subject so far, I have seen familiar names.

So far, I have been pulling peer-reviewed articles and similar papers from online databases.  But I am hoping to learn more about formal journal and similar publications that they can be found in, too.  I know that some of the books out there about The Beatles are actually compilations of these articles.
