Category: Comics

Posts about any paneled illustrated accounts of or essays about The Beatles are placed under this category.  Included in this section are posts about comics, graphic novels, and manga.

In regards to comics, this will not be limited to those that have been traditionally published on paper, be it in books or other paper media.  Online comics and those that are digitally released through other means will be covered here, too.

The graphic novels that would extend my consideration to is much in the same as that for comics: those that have been released as traditionally published, be it hardcover or paperback, will be obviously considered.  But digital formats will not be ignored, either.

Comics that had been originally released in languages other than English will be accepted, too.  I would much rather cover those that have an English translation in some form provided.  That is because not knowing what the text says will lessen my understanding of what is happening.

Manga will be placed under this category, too.  I would consider covering any relevant manhwa, too, but I currently don’t of any that would apply to this blog.

You would think that this wouldn’t surprise me, as I have this approach with life in general. A while ago on the Internet Archive, I saw a scanlation of Boku wa Beatles, a manga by Tetsuo Fujii and Kaiji Kawaguchi. It’s about two members who are part of a Beatles cover band who get transported to the past. I got the idea of seeing...
